After the reveal of a series of "Twizy-Killer" this year and mostly during the Frankfurt Auto Show, PSA, reveals its vision of the electric microcar.
In
development since 2009, here is a prototype revealed by PSA
(Peugeot-Citroen) during the ADEME Forum of Innovations that started
this morning at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.
This electric tricycle which is not (officially) adopted by one of the brands welcomes three passengers in a compact format. A second version of the prototype is already being developed with a different design.
The
idea is to offer an urban electric vehicle for under € 10.000,
technology demonstrator, the VéLV (Light Electric City Vehicle) will
trigger an official concept car to be revealed next year.
Weighing 650kg, the 20kW (27hp) electric motor allows a top speed of 110kph while the 8.5kW SAFT battery confers a 100km range.
